Indiegogo is a global platform with campaigns running in over 200 countries and regions. The following information pertains to campaigns based outside the United States:

Languages

At this time, Indiegogo is available in English, German, French, and Spanish. You can write your Pitch and Perks in any language, but the contribution process and all other content on the site will be in the language that you selected (in the footer of www.indiegogo.com).

Currency

Contributions and disbursements on Indiegogo can be made in USD ($), CAD (C$), EUR (€) or GBP (£). Campaign owners will be able to elect their campaign’s currency before launch, during the campaign creation process.

Campaigns raising funds in non-U.S. currency will be able to accept contributions through PayPal only. However, contributors will still be able to pay via credit card using PayPal’s guest checkout process.

How We Send Money to Non-US Campaigns

If your campaign is raising funds in U.S. dollars, you will be able to receive contributions in your bank account or PayPal account, depending on how the contribution is made. If your campaign is raising funds in non-U.S. currency, you will be able to receive contributions in your PayPal account only.

Contributions made via direct credit card on a USD ($) campaign can be sent to any valid bank account via bank-to-bank wire transfer. We transfer all contributions raised by credit card to your bank at the end of your campaign in one lump sum. At that time, you will be charged a $25 international wire transfer fee with your disbursement.

Contributions made via PayPal, regardless of your campaign’s currency, will be sent to your PayPal account. You will need to have a PayPal account that is able to both send and receive money through PayPal to raise contributions via PayPal on Indiegogo. Other Restrictions

If your country in not listed in our drop-down menu, there may be other restrictions that prevent us from accepting contributions or disbursing money to your campaign. Please contact support@indiegogo.com with specific questions about restrictions on campaigns from your country.
