Why Isn't My Campaign Showing Up on the Website?

Indiegogo is a merit-based platform, which means that we give all campaigns an equal chance to earn featured spots and greater visibility on our site. All campaigns are visible in our Browse pages and search results when they first launch. After that, the more active you and your community are, the more visible your campaign will be on our site. If your campaign does not raise any money after the first few days, however, it will only show up for exact title searches or by typing in the campaign URL.

Search Criteria

Every campaign will appear in our search results for the first 7 days of being live. If your campaign has raised at least 10 USD ($), CAD (C$), EUR (€) or GBP (£) (depending on the campaign's currency) after 7 days of being "live", you can find your campaign by searching for the campaign's title, tagline, or team member names. If not, you can still find your campaign with its direct URL or by entering your campaign's exact title in the search box. You can also locate your campaign if you:

  • Log into your Indiegogo account
  • Click on My Profile  in the “Hi, [Your Name]” menu next to the search box
  • Click on the “Campaigns” Tab
  • Click on your campaign listing to be taken to your Campaign Homepage

Browse-by-Category Pages

Campaigns earn placement on our Browse pages by staying active. Every campaign will appear in our browse pages for the first 4 days of being live. In an effort to highlight our most active campaigns, campaigns with less than 10 USD ($), CAD (C$), EUR (€) or GBP (£) (depending on the campaign's currency) contributed after 4 days of being live will not be found in our Browse pages. After 7 days, campaigns need a minimum of 100 raised to show up. After 2 weeks, a minimum of 500 must be raised in order for campaigns to be found in our Browse pages.

If your campaign does not appear in the Browse pages, people can still find it either by searching or going to the campaign URL.

My Campaign Is Just Getting Started! How Will People Find it?

When your campaign is just getting started, the most effective way to start raising funds is through proactive outreach to your closest friends, family and fans. 25-40% of your fundraising goal should come from this core group. Reach out to your inner circle with a personal message asking for their support. Make sure that you share a link to your campaign in all of your outreach. We've found that sending direct, personalized emails to your audience will have the best chance of converting visitors to your campaign page to contributors (Indiegogo Insight).

If your campaign has been taken off our Browse pages because the campaign hasn't raised enough funds, your campaign can still return to our Browse pages at any point, as soon as you have raised the minimum visibility requirement. For example, if you raise $10 by Day 6, your campaign will have been taken out of our Browse pages after Day 4, but will return to our Browse pages on Day 6 once you've raised the $10 minimum. Similarly, if you have raised at least $100 by Day 7 and don't raise $500 until Day 18, your campaign will have been taken out of our Browse pages after Day 14, but will return to our Browse pages on Day 18 once you've raised the $500 minimum.
