How To Create a Campaign

Indiegogo was founded in 2008 as a global funding platform to help anybody, anywhere raise money for anything! To get started, all you need is to create a profile and have a bank account or PayPal account.

To create a campaign:

1. Visit
2. Select 'Start your campaign' at the top of the page
3. Enter the basic information for your campaign-- the title, the funding goal, and the campaign's currency. Don't worry, you can modify this information later!
4. Finally, create an account or log in, if you haven’t logged in already

Once you've entered this basic information, you will be taken to Indiegogo's Create/Edit Campaign Tool. You can use the tabs on the left hand side of the Create/Edit tool to navigate through the different steps of creating a campaign.

Your new campaign will be saved in Draft mode. When your campaign is in Draft mode it is not viewable to the public; you can keep your project in Draft mode as long as you like!

Before you launch your campaign, make sure that you’re comfortable with your deadline (between 1 and 60 days), funds recipient, funding goal, funding type (Fixed or Flexible), and your campaign's currency. The funds recipient, funding type, and currency cannot be changed once you launch your campaign to the public.
