After you’ve received your first credit card contribution on your campaign, you’ll have access to the Secure Bank Form located on the “Funding” tab of your Campaign Editor. To view a list of the information you’ll need for the bank form visit this article.
If you have a US bank account:
Please make sure that you’ve entered all the required fields on the bank form, including identity information for the beneficiary or funds representative. Our payment processor, Stripe, requires this information before we are able to disburse your funds. For more information about verification, visit this page.
When completing the State field, please select the full state name from the type ahead field’s available choices rather than entering an abbreviation. For example, select “California” from the type ahead options rather than entering “CA” in the State field.
After filling in all fields on the bank form and selecting your state, the “Save Bank Form” button should be active.
If you have an international bank account:
On the international bank form, the Bank City, Swift Code (BIC), and Account Address are all required fields. Click here to review all the fields required for an international account.
- The Account Address should be the business or individual’s address associated with the account.
- If your Swift Code includes “xxx’s” on the end, please remove them from the Swift Code before adding it to the form. This should be the 8 or 11 digit alphanumeric code provided on your wire instructions.
For Canadian accounts, occasionally we’ve seen routing numbers that aren’t listed in our database. If you’re having trouble with your routing number saving, please send a voided check to our support team here.
For Chinese accounts, our bank form only accepts 35 characters in the “Bank Account Name” field. This is a limitation set by our bank. Some banks accept a partial name match, so we recommend checking with your bank to see if they’ll accept an abbreviated name in that field. If not, you can continue your name from the “Bank Account Name” field into the first line of the “Account Address” field.
If you’re encountering another issue, please contact our Payments team through our contact form.
