What are Pre-Launch Reservations?
Pre-launch Reservations is a feature built for the pre-launch page that allows a campaign to offer a guaranteed discount to the backers that put down a small fee before the campaign’s launch. A reservation will secure a discount for a perk and will not need to compete to get a limited quantity discounted perks.

How does a campaign participate in the beta?
If you're interested in applying for our beta, sign up here. Note that application does not necessarily mean acceptance into beta.
Beta campaigns will include a new Reservations tab in the Pre-launch section. This allows the campaign owner to toggle on the Reservation fields, fill them out, and publish.
Note that Pre-Launch Reservations is only compatible with Flexible Funding. You can update this in the Funding tab of your Campaign Editor.
When would the campaign need to go live with their crowdfunding campaign after setting up reservations?
The campaign has about 6 months to launch their crowdfunding campaign. A deadline will be shared with the campaign.
How does a backer redeem the discount?
When the campaign has launched, the campaign owner will send the reservation backers an email with a secret perk for the backer to claim the discount.
How can a backer request a refund?
A backer can request a refund by contacting the Indiegogo User Operations team at indiegogo.com/contact. Refunds are given up until 48 hours after the campaign launches. After that, there are no refunds.
Refunds are given to the backer if the campaign does not launch within about 6 months of their first reservation.
When will the Pre-Launch Reservations funds be disbursed?
They will be disbursed at the end of the campaign along with the funds raised.
