U.S. Privacy Laws
There are privacy laws that apply to residents in different states of the United States. This article provides a brief overview of some of those privacy laws and provides answers to some commonly asked questions. If you have further questions, including whether you may exercise a right under a certain law or whether that law applies to you, please consult an attorney as Indiegogo cannot give you legal advice.
Please note that if you use automated services to exercise your rights under any Privacy law, you will need to make sure that you follow the verification process listed in our Privacy Policy. If you submit any incomplete requests, we will not be able to comply until you provide all necessary information.
Residents of the European Economic Area ("EEA"), please review the GDPR Help Center Article.

If you are a California resident, in accordance with the California Consumer Protection Act (“CCPA”) that is effective on January 1, 2020, you can learn about how we collect data, use data and why we store it, in our Privacy Policy. To exercise any of your rights under the CCPA, please go to this link and "take control" of your data in the upper right-hand corner, or contact us at privacy@indiegogo.com, and you can exercise your right to not have us sell (as “sale” is defined in CCPA) your information by clicking on the “Do Not Sell My Information” link in the footer section of our website. You have a right to not face discrimination for exercising any rights under the CCPA. However, if your request requires us to delete, restrict or not share information, please be advised that this will inhibit some functionality of the Site. Any subsequent interaction with the Site after deletion will require new requests for action on your data.
